The no go zones!
Folks, as with every year, we approach both the City of Wanneroo and the Shire of Gingin to request infringement waivers in case some volunteers get lost out there on the day of the cleanup, which is easy to do as there isn't much to indicate on the ground where the boundaries are of Wilbinga.
The requests have been sent to both local governments now, so hopefully these two local governments will see the value in what we are doing for the morning of the 2nd of May.
So, we've created a map indicating where the no go zones are north and south of the park where infringements are likely.
The light green shaded areas on the map north and south are private property, please keep out of these areas.
Oh, and the beaches are not managed by Parks and Wildlife Services, so the volunteer insurance will not cover you when traversing the beaches, the risks are for you to determine.
Not saying don't travers the beach, just informing everyone that the DBCA volunteer insurance only covers for when on Parks & Wildlife managed estate.
This is a great opportunity to get better acquainted with what is the actual Wilbinga Conservation Park and what isn't.
If we all stay within the darker green shaded area, we will be all ok from possible infringements as we cannot guarantee waivers, we can only request them.
Satelite map as requested.
